Heuchera ‘Amber Gloss’ is a variety of heuchera with amber foliage that retains its color well even in winter.

It thrives in a sunny or partially shaded location, where its tones become more intense. It can also be grown in full shade, although its foliage will appear much lighter. Its leaves are glossy and evergreen.

This heuchera blooms in spring, producing small, low-growing cream-colored flowers. Thanks to its compact habit and short flower stems, it is ideal for container or planter cultivation. On a terrace or balcony, it takes up little space. In a garden, it is particularly well-suited for the front of flower beds and also works well in rock gardens.

Like all heucheras, Heuchera ‘Amber Gloss’ prefers a fresh, well-drained soil.
In clay soil, it is recommended to add compost or universal potting soil, along with gravel or other draining materials to prevent water from accumulating in winter.
For sandy soil, enrich it with plenty of compost and opt for a planting location in partial shade.
